Come and spend a weekend with us at the start of October, learning all about how to write thriller novels.
The course will be run with a maximum of seven people to ensure plenty of individual attention and feedback.
We will be staying in a beautiful Georgian house in Christchurch – an easy walk to the sea and just 1km from Christchurch station with direct trains to London Waterloo.
All meals, drinks and snacks are included in the course fee.
Expect long breakfasts, lively lunches, cake-fuelled afternoons, and evenings whiled away with delicious food, wine and like-minded company.
The mornings will be focused on tuition while the afternoons will be dedicated to free writing time. Or you might prefer to get your creative juices flowing with a stroll by the sea.
Course Aims
Sarah and Adam will help you dive into the world of thriller writing by focusing on plotting, narrative pacing, character development, voice and the importance of a strong opener.
They will share their own individual processes with you and their insights, writing-hacks and constructive feedback will help you embrace the drafting process and make bold, intentional choices that bring your unique authorial vision to life.
By gearing the course specifically to the particular techniques necessary for writing thrillers, we will jump start your creative process in a way a more general course never could.
